“Xapomelön (Kasba, 2011) is the album that consolidates La Pegatina. It contains 21 tracks where is mixed the usual urban rumba of the band with merenge, ranchera, disco music, cumbia and ska. The musical novelty on the album is drums incorporation, which can extend the group’s stylistic range. In “Xapomelön” we can listen to featuring with Amparo Sánchez, Joan Garriga, Eloi Gómez (in*digna), The Sey Sisters, Oscar Bas (Muchachito’s trombonist) and Tomàs Fosch (keyboards).
